Romano Fenati: “Questa gara la dedico a due persone che non ci sono più”

Tutto il podio del Mugello non finisce la gara di Barcellona. Il VNE SNIPERS ha l’amaro in bocca per Il suo Tony Arbolino, vittima di un guasto al cambio mentre lottava per vincere. La distanza dal primo in classifica si allunga un po’ ma il pilota di Garbagnate è in gran forma e potrà lottare per accorciarla. Romano Fenati, parte male ma recupera in gara. Con caparbietà lotta, riacciuffa i primi e conclude settimo. Questi punti sono come una boccata di ossigeno.

Romano Fenati: “Questa gara la dedico a due persone che non ci sono più e alle quali, in questa notte passata in bianco, ho pensato molto. Mi avete dato la forza di reagire alle difficoltà, senza mollare mai. Grazie a tutti i presenti e a quelli che hanno fatto il tifo da casa. È stato un weekend pieno di emozioni forti”.

Tony Arbolino: “Ho rotto il cambio in gara ed è un peccato perché oggi era una giornata molto importante per il campionato perché molti piloti non sono arrivati a punti. Mi sentivo bene lì davanti, riuscivo a superare e facevo un po’ fatica solo sul rettilineo. Sono le gare purtroppo, non ci abbattiamo e pensiamo già alla prossima”.

The whole Mugello podium didn’t finish the Barcelona race today. The VNE SNIPERS team left a bitter taste in the mouth for his Tony Arbolino, victim of a gear problem while he was fighting for the victory. The distance from the first in the classification is a little bit longer now but the rider from Garbagnate is in a great mood and he will be able to struggle for reducing the gap. Romano Fenati started bad from the eighteenth position but came back during the race. With determination he fought, came back to top positions and closed seventh. These points are a breath of fresh air.

Romano Fenati: “I dedicate this race to two people that are no more here; I thought a lot about them in this difficult night and they gave me the force to react to difficulties, without giving up. Thanks to all people that were here and that supported me from home. It was a weekend full of emotions”.

Tony Arbolino: “The gear broke during the race and it’s a shame as today it was an important day for the championship as many riders didn’t get points. I was feeling good, I could overtake, I only had some difficulties in the straight line but I was there. These are races, but we keep strong thinking about the next race”.
