Romano sarà quarto in griglia di partenza

Jerez de la Frontera – Spagna, 29 Aprile – Ottimo sabato per il Team Snipers sull’asfalto spagnolo. A Jerez de la Frontera nonostante il caldo di ieri e qualche goccia di oggi non si ferma il lavoro di tutto il Team per questo week end di gara.
Altra sessione, quella di questa mattina, dedicata a perfezionare alcuni setting delle moto per entrambi i piloti; per Matteo Bertelle che percepisce già bene la sua Honda, ma che vorrebbe migliorarsi in frenata, per Romano Fenati che da ieri vuole sentirsi ancora meglio perché fiducioso.
Entrambi gli Snipers devono affrontare le Q1 e lo fanno in modo egregio con un ottimo lavoro di squadra: Romano segna un primo tempo 1’45.9080, mentre Matteo si piazza in terza posizione. Purtroppo per lui è vittima di una caduta nel corso del secondo turno e domani partirà dall’ultima posizione (diciottesima casella).
Un buon quarto posto viene agguantato dal pilota di Ascoli Piceno che domani scatterà dalla seconda fila.
Per Romano non è un traguardo, ovviamente c’è molto altro lavoro da fare, ma il risultato di oggi lascia intravedere che questa è la strada giusta e che dobbiamo solo procedere in quella direzione.

Jerez de la Frontera – Spain, 29 April – Excellent Saturday for Team Snipers on the Spanish tarmac. At Jerez de la Frontera, despite yesterday’s heat and a few drops today, the work of the entire team does not stop for this race weekend.
This morning’s session was dedicated to perfecting some bike settings for both riders; for Matteo Bertelle, who is already feeling good on his Honda, but would like to improve on his braking, and for Romano Fenati, who has been feeling fit since yesterday.
Both Snipers had to tackle Q1 and they did so brilliantly, with a great team effort: Romano set a fastest time of 1’45.9080, while Matteo took third. Unfortunately for him he was the victim of a crash during the second session and tomorrow he will start from the last position (eighteenth box).
A good fourth place was grabbed by the rider from Ascoli Piceno, who will start from the second row tomorrow in fourth position.
For Romano this is not an achievement, obviously there is a lot more work to do but today’s result shows that the road is the right one, we just have to keep going in that direction.
