Bertelle sfiora le Q2, Romano partirà dalla 9a casella

Le Mans – Francia, 13 Maggio – Via al secondo giorno sullo strepitoso circuito Bugatti. Il Team Snipers si prepara ad affrontare la giornata di qualifiche.
Matteo affronta con grinta le Q1; migliora il suo rapporto con il freno anteriore. Sfiora il tempo per il passaggio alle Q2 che sfortunatamente gli verrà cancellato a causa di una bandiera gialla.
Non molto chiara inizialmente la situazione di Romano; un ottimo time attack negli ultimi giri gli permette di agguantare la nona posizione ma gli viene cancellato il giro inspiegabilmente poiché nessuna bandiera gialla sventolava e nessun pilota era stato coinvolto in cadute.
Segnalato il problema, la direzione gara riconosce un errore con il servizio di cronometraggio e riassegna la nona posizione al pilota ascolano.
Romano partirà quindi domani dalla terza fila, Matteo dalla ventunesima casella. Forza Snipers!
Mirko Cecchini, Team Owner: “Siamo un po’ amareggiati. Per Romano, la Direzione ha riconosciuto di aver fatto un errore. Invece di partire dodicesimo partirà nono, ma non comprendiamo perché sia stato cancellato il giro a Matteo. C’era la bandiera gialla di una caduta, il punto è che per i piloti che sono passati successivamente, dietro la sua Honda il giro è stato validato, mentre a Matteo no. Incomprensibile, però dobbiamo pensare a domani e concentrarci sempre di più.”
Matteo: “Non mi è stato molto chiaro cosa sia successo oggi durante le qualifiche. So solo che mi sento meglio in frenata ma che questo non è bastato a farmi accedere alle Q2 perché mi è stato cancellato il giro a causa di una bandiera gialla.”
Romano: “Oggi mi sentivo bene ed ero in forma. Speravo di fare un po’ meglio ma scatterò dalla terza fila. C’è da dire che nelle gare Moto3 tutto può succedere e io sono davvero pronto a tutto. Il team lavora sodo quindi domani solo gran gas”
