Mugello – Italy, June 11 – A special grand prix that of Mugello, the home Grand Prix with an audience that colors the Tuscan hills to warm up the cheering for the riders. We like to underline that we are an Italian Team based in Pesaro and that we always try to keep our Italian pride high. Today both Snipers were very focused and from their maximum. Romano faces difficult qualifying but feels confident in his riding skills. Matteo starts on the grid from the second row, an excellent position for him to start immediately among the leading positions. at the end of the recognition lap to great surprise Romano’s bike switches off, probably by arranging his position in the box he inadvertently touched the wrong button. Matteo gets off to a good start and immediately fights with overtaking and counter-overtaking, the leading group slips and Matteo sees himself involved in the fight between fourth and fifth position, until he crosses the finish line 12th for a stretch at a bend. Romano, after the difficult start begins an incredible comeback. Almost better times than the leading group, this is a clear sign of how under more fortunate conditions he would certainly have had an incredible race. We are happy and satisfied with the work done even during the weekend break. The whole team goes ahead, studying and analyzing every possible improvement to be made to the bike. See you at the next appointment. |
