Domenica difficile per gli Snipers che terminano comunque in zona punti

Argentina – Termas de Río Hondo, 2 Aprile – Gara bagnata sul circuito bianco celeste per questa seconda tappa del Motomondiale.
Alcune difficoltà durante il week-end di prove libere e qualifiche, costringono gli Snipers ad una partenza dalle retrovie.
Circuito non è esattamente a favore di Romano e Matteo i due piloti cercheranno in gara di dare il loro meglio.
Si parte con una pista bagnata senza warm-up come negli anni precedenti che avrebbe potuto aiutare ad analizzare meglio le condizioni dell’asfalto e settare il tiro.
Dopo l’ottimo tempo raggiunto da Bertelle nelle qualifiche di ieri, il numero 18 mantiene la stessa posizione lottando a centro gruppo. Purtroppo un contatto con un altro rider gli ha fatto perdere il ritmo.
Taglierà il traguardo in 12esima posizione. Ottima prestazione per il padovano in questa seconda gara di stagione che ad ogni km e gara in più aquista confidenza e conoscenza della sua moto.
Purtroppo proseguono le difficoltà per Romano anche in gara; la mancanza di grip lo costringe ad una guida accorta. Taglierà il traguardo in 13esima posizione guadagnando punti.
Il prossimo step sarà sicuramente quello di procedere con l’analisi della gara e di tutte quelle componenti che possono portare a migliorare il feeling di Romano.
Matteo Bertelle: “Oggi è stata una bella gara, mi sono divertito. Ho pensato a difendere la mia posizione, mi sentivo di poter rientrare anche più avanti fra i primi 10 ma alla fine era anche molto facile cadere e farsi male quindi sono contento sia andata così.”
Romano Fenati: “Purtroppo, un po’ come è successo in Portogallo, partendo così indietro non sono riuscito a risalire bene fra le prime posizioni. è un peccato ma devo, con tutto il team lavorare ancora sodo per trovare la quadra.”

Argentina – Termas de Rio Hondo, 2nd April – Wet race on the white and light blue track for this second round of the MotoGP Championship. Some difficulties during the weekend of free practices and qualifying force the Snipers to start from the back of the grid. The circuit is not exactly in favor of Romano and Matteo, the two riders will try to do their best during the race. The race starts on a wet track without warm-up, as in previous years, which could have helped to analyze the track conditions and set up the bikes. After yesterday’s excellent qualifying time, number 18 Bertelle maintains the same position fighting in the middle of the group. Unfortunately, a contact with another rider made him lose his pace. He will cross the finish line in 12th position. It was an excellent performance for the rider from Padua in this second race of the season, who gains confidence and knowledge of his bike with every kilometer and race. Unfortunately, Romano continues to face difficulties during the race; the lack of grip forces him to be cautious while riding. He will cross the finish line in 13th position, earning some points. The next step will certainly be to analyze the race and all the components that can help improve Romano’s feeling.
Matteo Bertelle: “Today was a great race, I had fun. I was focused on defending my position, I felt like I could have even moved up further among the top 10, but in the end it was also very easy to crash and get hurt, so I’m happy with how it went.”
Romano Fenati said: “Unfortunately, just like what happened in Portugal, starting from so far back I couldn’t make my way up to the front positions. It’s a shame, but I and the whole team have to keep working hard to find the right solution.”
