GARA, FENATI, A PUNTI NEL GRAN PREMIO DELLE AMERICHE, MENTRE ALDEGUER CADE AL PRIMO GIRO
La domenica al Circuito Of The Americas si chiude con il quindicesimo piazzamento di Fenati, in rimonta dalla ventunesima posizione e con la caduta di Aldeguer ad inizio gara.
Allo spegnersi dei semafori, un incredibile Romano si è dimostrato alquanto abile nella partenza balzando da p21 a p10. Il numero 5 è riuscito a mantenere la posizione fino al quarto giro in cui un forte dolore alla spalla ha intralciato la sua guida. A denti stretti, Romano è riuscito ad arrivare alla fine dei 18 giri chiudendo in zona punti con la quindicesima posizione.
Sfortunata fine di un weekend in luce per il giovane Aldeguer che lascia il Texas a mani vuote. Poteva essere la rivincita che tutti si aspettavano, ma un complicato primo giro ha messo Fermin fuori dai giochi. Il pilota del team MB Conveyors SpeedUp, competitivo in ogni sessione del Gran Premio delle Americhe, dopo una buona partenza ha subito il contatto di un altro pilota che lo ha portato fuori pista. Determinato a non mollare, Aldeguer ha cercato subito di impostare il suo ritmo gara per recuperare posizioni, quando alla curva 12 del primo giro sbaglia e mette fine alla sua gara.
ROMANO FENATI #5: 15°
“Non sono contentissimo del risultato finale perché potevamo fare molto meglio. Purtroppo ho avuto un problema alla spalla dopo il terzo giro ho sentito un grande dolore ed ho cercato di tenere duro fino alla fine ma non riuscivo a frenare e mi son ritrovato a dover guidare con un solo braccio. Nonostante questo problema, abbiamo raggiunto la zona punti e non credo potevamo fare di meglio data la situazione. Ora dobbiamo continuare a lavorare in questa direzione, crescendo di gara in gara!”.
FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: DNF
“Non ci resta che guardare il positivo di questo weekend. Siamo stati molto competitivi in tutte le prove, ma in gara la fortuna non è stata dalla nostra parte. Sono partito molto bene, ma ho avuto un contatto con un altro pilota che mi ha spinto fuori pista. Proprio quando speravo di recuperare posizioni, un errore ci ha tolto dai giochi. Ad ogni modo, dagli errori si impara! Chiedo scusa alla mia squadra e ringrazio per il lavoro svolto in questi giorni”.
RACE: FENATI IN THE POINTS IN THE GRAND PRIX OF THE AMERICAS, WHILE ALDEGUER CRASHES ON LAP 1
The racing Sunday at the Circuit Of The Americas ended with the fifteenth placement of Fenati, recovering from the twenty-first position and with the Aldeguer’s crash at the start of the race.
When the traffic lights went out, an incredible Romano proved to be quite skilled in starting, jumping from p21 to p10. The number 5 managed to hold the position until the fourth lap when a severe pain in his shoulder hampered his driving. With gritted teeth, Romano managed to reach the end of the 18 laps closing in the points in fifteenth position.
Unfortunate end of a weekend in light for the young Aldeguer who leaves Texas empty-handed. It could have been the rematch everyone expected, but a complicated first lap put Fermin out of the way. The MB Conveyors SpeedUp rider, competitive in every session of the Grand Prix of the Americas, after a good start suffered the contact of another rider who took him off the track. Determined not to give up, Aldeguer immediately tried to set his race pace to recover positions, when he made a mistake at turn 12 on the first lap and put an end to his race.

“I’m not very happy with the final result because we could have done much better. Unfortunately, I had a shoulder problem. After the third lap I felt a great pain and I tried to hold on until the end but I could not brake and I found myself having to drive with only one arm. Despite this problem, we have reached the points and I don’t think we could have done better given the situation. Now we have to keep working in this direction, growing from race to race!”.
FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: DNF
“We just have to look at the positive this weekend. We were very competitive in all sessions, but luck was not on our side in the race. I started very well, but I had contact with another rider who pushed me off the track. Just when I was hoping to recover positions, an error took us out of the game. Either way, you learn from mistakes! I apologize to my team and thank them for the work done in these days”.
