Gara, Matteo chiude 17esimo, 19esimo posto, Romano Fenati
Le Mans – Francia, 14 Maggio – Arriviamo alla domenica con la gara sul circuito di Le Mans. Purtroppo per gli Snipers gara sottotono per entrambi i piloti che non riescono ad entrare in zona a punti.
Romano parte molto bene, posizionandosi nel primo gruppetto di testa.
Sfortunatamente al terzo giro la collisione con un altro pilota gli fa perdere all’improvviso terreno scendendo nelle ultime posizioni. Lotta molto ma questo impatto lo costringe a ripartire dalle retrovie. Taglierà la linea del traguardo diciannovesimo.
Anche Matteo Bertelle, partito dal fondo della griglia riesce a migliorare leggermente combattendo con qualche sorpasso e conquistando qualche posizione in più. Bandiera a scacchi per lui con un 17esimo piazzamento.
Purtroppo una gara inferiore a tutte le aspettative del Team che raccoglie ancora una volta dati per lavorare ulteriormente e migliorarsi in vista della prossima gara che sarà molto importante. Il prossimo GP sarà appunto quello di casa; si correrà al Mugello circuito che gli Snipers conoscono benissimo e che entrambi i nostri piloti amano.

Matteo: “Ho fatto una buona partenza ma dopo non sono riuscito a mantenere un buon passo gara. Purtroppo è stata una gara molto difficile, non sono riuscito ad esprimermi al meglio. Non vedo l’ora di correre già nel prossimo circuito che sarà sul Mugello.”
Romano: “Purtroppo con due contatti in gara non sono riuscito a fare meglio di così. Con il primo ho perso un paio di posizioni, il secondo invece mi ha mandato proprio dritto all’ultima chicane quindi ho perso diverse posizioni, recuperare è stato difficile.”

Race – Fenati #FrenchGP
Le Mans – France, May 14 – Finally we arrive to the Sunday race at the Le Mans circuit. Unfortunately for Snipers it was an underwhelming race for both riders who failed to get into the points zone.
Romano has a great start, finding his position in the leading group.
Unfortunately on the third lap a collision with another rider made him suddenly lose the head of the group, dropping to the last positions. He struggles hard but this impact forces him to restart from the rear. He will cross the finish line nineteenth.
Matteo Bertelle, who started from the back of the grid, also managed to improve slightly by fighting a few overtaking moves and gaining a few more positions. Checkered flag for him with a 17th place.
Unfortunately, this was a race under all the expectations of the team, which once again gathered data to work further and improve with a view to the next race, which will be very important. The next GP will be the home one; it will be at Mugello, a circuit that Snipers know very well and that both our riders love.

Matteo: “I made a good start but after that I couldn’t maintain a good race pace. Unfortunately it was a very difficult race, I could not express myself at my best. I am looking forward to racing at the next circuit, which will be Mugello.”
Romano: “Unfortunately with two contacts in the race I couldn’t do any better than that. With the first one I lost a couple of positions, the second one sent me right into the last chicane so I lost several positions, recovering was difficult.”
