Misano per gli Snipers: si affronta la sfida con determinazione

San Marino – Misano, 09 Settembre – Siamo arrivati al sabato, giornata di qualifiche sull’asfalto del Simoncelli World Circuit a Misano.
Tutta la squadra Snipers sta concludendo la settimana di gara del Gran Premio di Misano con risultati che possono sembrare sfidanti, ma con una forte determinazione verso nuovi traguardi.

Romano viene da delle sessioni di prove libere intense, mirava a qualcosa di più sul circuito di casa, questo non lo nasconde, ma non molla mai il colpo per essere pronto ad un buon piazzamento per oggi, nelle Q2 che Romano affronta con competitività. Chiude 18esimo che sebbene il risultato possa apparire al di sotto delle sue aspettative, Fenati ha dimostrato una straordinaria tenacia nel guidare la sua moto in un contesto altamente competitivo.

Una casella più indietro troviamo Matteo che purtroppo non riesce per questo week-end a trovare un passo gara ottimale.
Costretto a passare dalla Q1, il pilota di Padova, manca l’obiettivo del passaggio per una manciata di decimi di secondo. Domani scatterà dalla griglia 19esimo.

Matteo: “Sono un po’ amareggiato perché speravo di recuperare qualche posizione oggi pomeriggio, ma purtroppo non sono riuscito a passare le Q1. Questa pista mi piace quindi sono sicuro che domani in gara darò il massimo; non mi scoraggia partire dietro, punto a fare una bella rimonta.”

Romano: “I’m not lacking confidence in riding the bike; I feel good, and I think I demonstrated that yesterday in free practice. Today, I faced a bit more difficulty in the afternoon because this morning I finished sixth, only +0.052 seconds behind the leader, so we are really close.“

Misano for the Snipers: facing the challenge with determination

Day2 – Matteo Bertelle #SanMarinoGP

San Marino – Misano, September 9th – We have reached Saturday, the day of qualifying on the asphalt of the Simoncelli World Circuit in Misano. The entire Snipers team is concluding the race week of the Misano Grand Prix with results that may seem challenging, but with a strong determination towards new goals.

Romano, coming from intense free practice sessions, was aiming for something more on his home circuit, which he does not hide, but he never lets up to be ready for a good placement for today’s Q2, which Romano faced competitively. He finishes 18th, and although the result may appear below his expectations, Fenati has shown extraordinary tenacity in riding his bike in a highly competitive environment.

One position behind, we find Matteo, who unfortunately cannot find an optimal race pace for this weekend. Forced to go through Q1, the Padua rider misses the passage goal by a few tenths of a second. He will start from 19th on the grid tomorrow.

Matteo: “I’m a bit disappointed because I was hoping to recover some positions this afternoon, but unfortunately, I couldn’t make it through Q1. I like this track, so I’m sure that tomorrow in the race, I will give my best. Starting from behind doesn’t discourage me; I aim to make a good comeback.”

Romano: “Misano is a track I really like. It was a great first day; I set my time riding alone, which is crucial, even though the wind picked up. We made some modifications that I quite liked, and tomorrow we’ll improve even more. We’re not far from the top, but we need to shave off those tenths that separate us.”
