Moto 2, Romano Fenati, “Alla fine partire dalla quarta fila non è male
Fantastica vittoria per Aleix Viu nel terzo appuntamento dell’anno, la quarta gara del FIM CEV REPSOL. Una due giorni perfetta per il giovane talento spagnolo che, ieri, ha dominato le qualifiche (per lui erano i primi km in sella ad una Moto3 sul circuito francese). In gara, il n. 81 resta nel gruppo dei primi per quasi metà gara, si porta in testa e poi allunga inesorabilmente, riuscendo a vincere con distacco. Per la concorrenza non c’è stata storia. La superiorità del giovane alfiere del MARINELLI SNIPERS TEAM è stata netta. Un grande risultato che mette di buon umore il box e offre uno stimolo in più agli altri due moschettieri del team che partiranno, rispettivamente, dalla quarta (Romano Fenati – Moto2) e dalla quinta fila (Tony Arbolino – Moto3). Una bella partenza per entrambi potrebbe bastare a renderli protagonisti, visto che il passo è ottimo per entrambi.
Aleix Viu: “Sono molto contento di questa prima vittoria. All’inizio è stata una gara difficile con un bel gruppo là davanti e sapevo che alcuni piloti erano molto forti qua. Sinceramente non pensavo di poter scappare, sapevo di avere un buon ritmo e di essere in grado di spezzare il gruppo ma non di poter riuscire a prendermi un margine. Sono rimasto concentrato fino al traguardo e ringrazio tutta la squadra per questo bel risultato”.
Romano Fenati: “Alla fine partire dalla quarta fila non è male, il problema è che la moto non è ancora come la vorrei e abbiamo solo il warm up per fare altre prove. Comunque vada cercherò di fare la differenza in gara”.
Tony Arbolino: “Per la qualifica mi aspettavo qualcosa in più. Sono un po’ arrabbiato perché non sono riuscito a sfruttare al 100% il potenziale mio e della moto. Domani cercherò di fare una bella rimonta e sorpassare il più possibile soprattutto nei primi giri, senza perdere il contatto con il gruppo dei primi”.

Amazing first victory for Aleix Viu in the third run of the year, the fourth race of the FIM CEV REPSOL. Two perfect days for the young Spanish talent that, yesterday, dominated the qualifying practices (for him there were the first km with a Moto3 on the French track). In the race, the n. 81 stayed in the group ahead for almost half race, went in the first position and got a great gap. For the other riders there was not history. Aleix supremacy was clear. A great result giving positivity to the garage and a further stimulus for the other 2 musketeers of the Marinelli Snipers Team. Romano Fenati (Moto2) and Tony Arbolino (Moto3) will start from the fourth and fifth row respectively in their classes. A good start for both could be enough to be protagonists, as the pace of both is very good.
Aleiv Viu: “I am very happy of my first victory. At the beginning it was a difficult race with a big group in the front and honestly I knew that some riders were very strong here and I didn’t expect to get a gap. My pace was good, I kew I can break the group but I didn’t expect to get such a gap. I kept the focus until the finishing line and I thank all the team for the best result”.
Romano Fenati: “At the end starting from the fourth row is not so bad, the problem is that the set up of the bike is still not as I wish and we only have the warm up to do other practices. Anyway I will try to do the difference in the race “.
Tony Arbolino: “For the qualifying I expected something more. I am not satisfied as I could do more. Tomorrow I will do my best to recover positions especially in the first laps, without losing the contact with the group of the firsts”.
