Moto 2 Romano Fenati: “Sono contento della gara perché, dopo le cadute e i ritiri delle ultime tappe,
Il Gran Premio di Austria si conclude a punti per entrambi i piloti del Marinelli Snipers Team. Serviva un buon risultato e un’ iniezione di fiducia e così è stato. Sia Tony che Romano hanno mostrato un bel feeling con le rispettive moto, in quasi tutti i turni e nelle varie condizioni di pista. Oggi, in Moto3, Tony perde il contatto con il gruppo di testa nelle fasi iniziali della gara ma non si perde d’animo e stringe i denti lottando fino alla linea del traguardo dove riesce a centrare la nona posizione. Romano non parte benissimo ma rimane concentrato e recupera posizioni fino all’undicesima piazza. Tra due settimane di nuovo in pista, a Silverstone, per il dodicesimo round della stagione.
Tony Arbolino: “Oggi mi sono divertito, tanti sorpassi, una bella gara e stiamo crescendo. Purtroppo ho perso il contatto con gruppo nei primi giri, non avevo il massimo feeling all’inizio ma poi sono riuscito a compensare un po’. Siamo sempre più vicini, gara dopo gara, ad ottenere risultati importanti. Ci riproviamo in Inghilterra” .
Romano Fenati: “Sono contento della gara perché, dopo le cadute e i ritiri delle ultime tappe, avevamo tutti bisogno di portare a casa un risultato. Il feeling con la moto è sempre stato buono per tutto il weekend e adesso cerchiamo di fare un ulteriore step in avanti a partire da Silverstone”.

The Austrian Grand prix ended with points for both riders of the Marinelli Snipers Team. We needed a good result and a confidence injection, so it was. Both Tony and Romano showed a good feeling with their bikes in most of the sessions and in the different track conditions. Today, in Moto3, Tony lost the contact with the group ahead at the beginning of the race but he kept the focus and fought until the end by getting the ninth place. Romano didn’t start well but he recovered positions until the eleventh place. In two weeks we will be again on track, at Silverstone, for the twelfth round of the season.
Tony Arbolino: “Today I had fun, lots of overtakes and it was a great race, we are growing up. Unfortunately I lost the contact with the top group at the beginning of the race as I didn’t have a lot of feeling at the start but then it was better. Race by race, we are closer to important results. We’ll try again in England” !
Romano Fenati: “I am happy of the race as, after the crashes and the retirements of the last races, we all need to get a good result. The feeling with the bike was good for the whole weekend and now we try to do a further step forward starting from Silverstone”.
