MOTO 3 LE MANS Romano Fenati: “Oggi siamo molto contenti di aver ottenuto questo quarto posto in griglia.
A pochi istanti dal termine delle qualifiche Romano Fenati era in pole e un rinato Jules Danilo era quinto. Inizia a piovere, nessuno può migliorare, e lo Snipers Team già assapora il gusto del pomeriggio migliore. Peccato che duri poco.
Il rubinetto si chiude, la pista si asciuga e due minuti sono sufficienti ad altri piloti per migliorare il tempo e portarsi davanti. Alla fine Romano Fenati aprirà la seconda fila del Gran Premio di Francia, domani, sul circuito di Le Mans, mentre il suo compagno di squadra, Jules Danilo, partirà dalla sesta fila. Il passo dell’ascolano resta impressionante e domani gli spetta di diritto una gara da protagonista. Ma lo stesso vale per il francesino suo compagno di squadra, che, visto il passo, potrà rientrare in fretta nel gruppo di quelli che contano.
Romano Fenati: “Oggi siamo molto contenti di aver ottenuto questo quarto posto in griglia. È stata una qualifica difficile, date le condizioni, ma siamo pronti per la gara. Domattina, nel corso del warm up e in base alle condizioni meteo, valuteremo quale sarà la gomma da gara perché la scelta sarà importante per avere una costanza di rendimento fino alla fine della gara“.
Jules Danilo: “Oggi il feeling era fantastico e mi sentivo davvero veloce ma sono rimasto bloccato nel traffico nei minuti finali del turno e questo ha compromesso la mia qualifica. Mi sento forte e nonostante la posizione in griglia darò il massimo per portare a casa un buon risultato“.

Few minutes to the end of the qualifying session Romano Fenati was in pole position while Jules Danilo was fifth. It started to rain, nobody can improve and the Snipers team already tastes the feeling of the best day. It’s short. The tap closed, the track is dry again and 2 minutes are enough for the other riders who can improve their times and be ahead. At the end Romano Fenati will open the second row of the Grand prix of France, tomorrow, at Le Mans circuit, while his teammate Jules Danilo will start form the sixth row. The pace of the rider from Ascoli is impressive and tomorrow he can be a real protagonist of the race. The same for the French rider who, thanks to the rhythm shown today, could be in the group ahead easily.
Romano Fenati: “Today we are very happy of this fourth position on the grid. It was a difficult qualifying, because of weather conditions, but we feel ready for the race. Tomorrow morning, during the warm up, we’ll decide the right tyre for the race“.
Jules Danilo: “Today the feeling was perfect and I felt really fast but I was completely blocked in the final minutes of the session and this compromised my qualifying. I am feeling strong unless the position on the grid, so I will do the maximum to get a good result“.
