Rimonta difficile ma continuiamo a lottare

Portogallo – Portimao, 26 Marzo – Appena conclusa la prima gara Moto3 del Campionato MotoGp sull’asfalto dell’Algarve Circuit di Portimao.
Nella calda mattinata portoghese il Team Snipers è concentrato su una gara di rimonta dalle retrovie.
Rimonta molto difficile, come si aspettavano i piloti che hanno dato il loro cento per cento.
Tutto il team non si può definire contento per il risultato di oggi, le previsioni delineate dai test avevano tralasciato vedere molto altro. Ma avendo un’altra gara così vicina, gli Snipers, potranno avere una possibilità in più di migliorare e studiare il passo gara.
Matteo cerca di recuperare posizioni a tutti i costi, lotta fin dai primi giri ma viene a sua volta superato, finendo la gara 17esimo.
Romano ha qualche difficoltà a recuperare il gruppo di testa, tenta ma purtroppo, spingendo al massimo, tocca con la gomma l’area verde del track limits e deve subire anche un long lap. Taglierà il traguardo 19esimo.
Matteo Bertelle: “Avrei voluto guadagnare più punti oggi in gara perchè mi sentivo bene ed ero in forma. Purtroppo non sono riuscito, ho provato più e più volte a sorpassare. Dobbiamo lavorare su questa strada che è quella giusta.”
Romano Fenati: “Purtroppo oggi sapevamo che partire così indietro ci avrebbe penalizzato. Adesso abbiamo subito un’altra gara attaccata in Argentina quindi cercheremo di lavorare sui primi dati che abbiamo di gara.”
Sappiamo le aree su cui lavorare e certamente utilizzeremo le informazioni di questa prima gara per migliorare la competitività della moto.

Portugal – Portimao, March 26th – Just concluded the first Moto3 race of the MotoGP Championship on the asphalt of the Portimao’s Algarve Circuit. In the hot Portuguese morning, the Snipers Team focused on a comeback race from the back. A very difficult comeback, as expected by the riders who gave their 100%. The whole team cannot be defined as happy with today’s result, as the predictions outlined by the tests had overlooked much more. But with another race so close, the Snipers will have one more chance to improve and study the race pace. Matteo tries to recover positions at all costs, fights from the first laps but is in turn overtaken, finishing the race 17th. Romano has some difficulty in catching up with the leading group, he tries but unfortunately touches the green area of the track limits with his tire, so he also has to endure a long lap penalty. He will cross the finish line in 19th place.
Matteo Bertelle: “I would have liked to earn more points today in the race because I felt good and was in shape. Unfortunately, I couldn’t do it, I tried to overtake many times. We need to work on this path which is the right one.”
Romano Fenati said: “Unfortunately, today we knew that starting so far back would penalize us. Now we have another race coming up in Argentina, so we will try to work on the first data we have from the race.”
We know the areas to work on and we will certainly use the information from this first race to improve the competitiveness of the bike.
