Romano Fenati, Sono sicuro che domani ce la giocheremo con i migliori fin dalle prime curve

Agosto da record per il team Snipers che preda la terza pole consecutiva. Tony Arbolino, grazie ad un giro record (2’11.631) e ad una strategia furba, porta a casa ancora una volta la pista sgombra in griglia. Il giovane di Garbagnate, dopo 5 podi, due vittorie e tre pole, avverte la concorrenza che la lotta per il titolo è ancora aperta. Romano Fenati, che su questo tracciato riasfaltato si sta rivelando velocissimo, ottiene solo la quinta fila per non essere riuscito a sfruttare a dovere il giro buono finale, nel quale tutto il gruppo, di fronte a lui, ha rallentato senza migliorare. 

Tony Arbolino: “È stata una qualifica bellissima, non me lo aspettavo. Dobbiamo lavorare molto sulla gara, la scelta della gomma sarà fondamentale. Spero che non sia la solita gara di gruppo ma che saremo in pochi in grado di andar via”.

Romano Fenati: “Siamo entrati per il giro lanciato con la gomma usata e ho sentito subito un buon feeling. Avrei potuto fare un gran tempo ma avere il gruppo davanti non ha aiutato. Sono sicuro che domani ce la giocheremo con i migliori fin dalle prime curve“.

August, a record month for the Snipers team that got the third pole position in a row. Tony Arbolino, thanks to a record lap (2’11.631) and a smart strategy, obtained once again the track clear on the grid. The young rider from Garbagnate, after 5 podiums, 2 victories and three pole positions informs the rivals that the fight for the championship is still open. Romano Fenati, very fast on the new asphalt circuit, got only the fifth row as he didn’t use at the best the last flying lap where the group, in front of him, has slowed down without improving.

Tony Arbolino: “It was an amazing qualifying, I didn’t expect it. We absolutely have to work on the race, the choice of the tyre will be fundamental. I hope it won’t be a group race but that only few riders will be able to go away“.

Romano Fenati: “We started the last flying lap with the used tyre and I immediately had a good feeling. I could have done a good time but the group ahead was not helpful. Anyway, I am sure that tomorrow we’ll be among the best riders from the first laps“.
